- 2020_Regular Events

We are now offering a mix of online and in-person events, including our well-loved regular events Rhyme Time, Storytime and Conversation Café and new regular events Makers Corner and Monthly Book Chat. Events in library branches will be COVID Safe with limited capacity, bookings are essential.

- Storytime_Banner_small Storytime - now in all 4 libraries! 

Bring your pre-schooler along for stories, songs and simple craft activities. For children aged 2 to 5 years.

Sessions are held at 11.15am during school terms: 
Tuesdays at Northcote Library
Wednesdays at Preston Library 
Thursdays at Reservoir Library
Fridays at Fairfield Library

Bookings are essential! To ensure social distancing is observed, we are limiting numbers at our Storytime sessions. New sessions will be added weekly on Fridays.

- Rhyme-Time_Web-banner_small Rhyme Time - back in branches!

Join us with your baby or toddler to learn songs, finger plays and rhymes! Suitable for children aged 0 to 2 years.

Sessions are held at 10.15am during school terms:

Conversation Café is an informal get-together where you can practise your English language skills in a friendly, supportive environment. Sessions are guided by a library staff member and everyone is welcome. Held weekly during school terms. 

Session details for 2021:
Mondays: 10am to 11am hosted on Zoom 
Fridays: 10am to 11am at Preston Library

Maker's Corner is a monthly event for art and craft enthusiasts of all abilities.

Each month we focus on a new creative skill, with sessions presented by talented individuals who share their skills and help you develop your own. 


This is a COVID Safe event with a limit of 10 attendees – bookings are essential.
