Darebin Libraries have reopened! This comes after the State Government’s announcement of the end of the five-day lockdown. We have returned to the same opening hours, which now include evenings and Sundays at Preston and Northcote libraries, and Saturdays at all branches. For full details of our opening hours, available services and conditions of entry, please go to the Visit the Library page.
If you need to contact us, please call 1300 655 355, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. You can also send us a request or message us through our Facebook page. Visit Darebin City Council website for information about other Council services. To find out more about COVID-19, please visit the DHHS website Other service updates Loans of physical items were extended for the duration of 7 days throughout the lockdown, but any extension of due dates has now ended. Please check your library account - via the Darebin Libraries app or our website - for the due date of any items you have on loan. The return chutes are open 24/7 at all library branches. |

When will you reopen? Fairfield, Northcote, Reservoir and Preston libraries are all open. Are there fines at the moment? Can I reserve an item? Are meeting rooms available? When will library programs, like Storytime and Rhyme Time, resume? You can also access our catalogue of past online events on our Facebook page (you do not need a Facebook account to view these videos). Click here for more information about our regular programs or visit Eventbrite for special event information. |
