Darebin Libraries branches are currently closed

Darebin Libraries branches will be closed for the duration of the current lockdown due to Coronavirus. We will reopen branches when it is safe to do so, pending advice from the State Government.

You can access physical items through our contactless Click and Collect service, which will be available until restrictions ease.

Our return chutes are open 24/7. All current physical loans have been extended until after restrictions ease, so please continue to enjoy these items for the duration of lockdown.

If you don’t use Click and Collect to pick up your current reservations, we’ll hold them for an additional 10 days beyond the lockdown.

While our branches are closed, you can access our digital library from home. Here you will find eBooks, eAudiobooks, eComics, digital magazines and newspapers, film streaming and more. Or, you can access these resources with the Darebin Libraries app. For assistance please call 1300 655 355, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm or send us a message.

Our online events, like Conversation Café, Storytime and Rhyme Time, will continue, however in-person events have been cancelled or postponed.

Please take care and we look forward to being able to welcome you back into our branches when it’s safe to do so. You can visit our website or Facebook page for updates.
